Dickinson Law, Holmes Murphy, and Eide Bailly are pleased to announce the participants on the keynote panel at its joint Cybersecurity Seminar on April 9th. Dan and Meg will share experiences with cybersecurity, and discuss ideas for improving an organization’s cybersecurity during a moderated discussion.

  • Meg Anderson, VP, CISO at Principal Financial Group

Meg Anderson leads the Information Security & Risk team for Principal Financial Group in the role of VP-Chief Information Security Officer.  She drives information security strategy for the global Fortune 500 company including security operations, identity and access management, data protection, governance, risk and compliance.

Meg participates on a wide variety of CISO councils, is a Board member of the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC) and is chair of the Security and Risk Committee of the board. Previous to the role of VP-CISO, Meg acquired over twenty years of technical and leadership experience in application development.

Meg graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems.
  • Dan Kramer, Executive Vice President, Government and Community Affairs, SHAZAM

Growing up in the Republic of Panama in the shadow of two dictatorships, Dan is passionate about every voice being heard in the political process. He knows that navigating the complexity of the legislative process and the pitfalls of politics can be a daunting task, yet his experience in the payments industry and ever-growing knowledge of the political landscape will provide direction for honing your message and successfully advocate for your issues.

Dan works with issues at the local, state and federal levels and oversees community affairs with government agencies, nonprofit organizations and private companies to nurture the relationships necessary for enterprise growth and success.

Attendees can register to attend in person or via online webinar, and will leave with a greater understanding of the tools needed to assure business security, protect customer data, stay compliant with the law, and the questions to ask of their cybersecurity teams.

For those attending in person, a complimentary lunch will be provided at noon and a happy hour will follow the panels.
