Executive Comp & Benefits
Overview
While most executive compensation regulations are aimed at public companies, today even smaller companies' executive compensation practices are being subjected to increased scrutiny. Dickinson Bradshaw attorneys counsel both public and private companies on executive compensation practices and legal requirements such as proper disclosure. We advise boards and management on issues involving executive and non-executive compensation, including golden parachute payments, and benefits such as defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, health benefits, and other fringe benefits - as well as proper disclosure of such benefits. Our attorneys also work with clients to negotiate employment agreements for key members of management that comply with financial regulatory and employment law-related requirements while also giving proper attention to tax planning concerns.
