We’re happy to announce that Endylion Strohman has joined Dickinson, Bradshaw, Fowler & Hagen, P.C. as an Associate Attorney.
Endylion’s practice at Dickinson Bradshaw will focus primarily in the areas elder law, wills, trusts, estate planning, and probate law where she will work closely with the firm’s team of attorneys focused on helping clients planning for the future, as well as the distribution of property between generations.
“I have some background in wills and trusts, but I wanted to expand my knowledge in this area of law and work with a strong team of attorneys who could mentor and guide me,” Endylion said. “Luckily, I found that opportunity at Dickinson Bradshaw, and knew right away the firm would be somewhere I could grow my practice and build positive relationships at work and in the community.”
Endylion is fortunate in that she joins a group of senior attorneys who have decades of experience in estate planning and related legal areas.
“We’re pleased that Endylion has joined the team,” said Attorney Greg Kenyon. “She will be a valuable addition to help guide clients who are navigating the often-complex decisions of elder law, estate planning, and other legal issues affecting our clients and their families.”
Endylion grew up in Ames, where she later attended Iowa State and graduated magna cum laude in 2020 with a B.S. in Psychology and Criminal Justice. It was during the pursuit of her undergraduate degree that she realized that her skill set aligned well with the requirements of law school.
“That, combined with my strong desire to counsel and help others, is why I decided that law school would be the right fit for me,” she said.
Endylion went on to earn her J.D. degree from Drake Law in 2023, where she gained valuable legal training as a Student Attorney in Drake’s Advanced Refugee Legal Clinic and on-the-job experience as a Law Clerk at Baer Law Office. Upon passing the bar, she practiced in family law, personal injury, civil litigation, and wills and trusts. It was through that experience that she decided to focus more on wills and trusts, and estate planning.
“I am looking forward to practicing in an area where my main objectives are connecting with clients and tailoring a plan to meet their specific needs and goals,” she said. “To me, work in these areas of law can help provide assurance and relief for people, which I find to be the most fulfilling part of practicing law.”
Outside of the office, most of Endylion’s free time is spent with her family in the Des Moines area either trying new restaurants, biking, or spending time outdoors at downtown festivals, the farmer’s market, and live music events. She also enjoys cooking and hanging out with her cat.
