L. Lars Hulsebus

Introduction

At Dickinson Bradshaw, Lars advocates for clients in high-stakes disputes of all kinds. Over more than a decade as a civil litigator, he has represented individuals and small businesses, as well as Fortune 500 companies and several of the largest banks and asset management firms in the world. He is experienced litigating in state and federal courts around the country, handling arbitrations and mediations, and representing clients before agencies and quasi-governmental organizations such as Iowa Workforce Development, FINRA, and the SEC. Despite a passion for trial work, Lars has a track record of resolving difficult conflicts without going to trial.

Lars grew up farming with his parents in Northwest Iowa. He earned his J.D. from Georgetown University, and a B.S. in Political Science and Journalism from Drake University.

Before joining Dickinson Bradshaw in October of 2022, Lars practiced litigation in New York, first at the international firm Willkie Farr and Gallagher LLP, and then at the litigation boutique Dewey Pegno & Kramarsky LLP. Prior to becoming an attorney, Lars worked as a news reporter at The Des Moines Register.
